Joseph & His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
December 2005
We decided to create Joseph as our College production for 2005 as it was different to the previous year which had been Les Miserables. 80 students took part in the production and Mr Gill made a fantastic sphinx with a mouth which opened and shut to let the Pharoah through.
Mrs Robinson was in charge of costumes even though she had retired from College after Les Miserables and her version of Joseph’s coat is amazing as can be seen in the photographs of James Slimings as Joseph.
The brothers ranged in age from Y7 to Y11 and certainly entertained the audience with their rendition of ‘Those Canaan Days’.
Their catching and ‘eating’ of a fly became a longer and longer set piece each evening!
