Careers at Manor College of Technology
A young person’s career is their pathway through learning and work. All young people need a planned programme of activities to help them make 14-19 choices that are right for them and to be able to manage their careers throughout their lives.
Manor aims to equip our students with the knowledge, skills and attributes to make the most of changing opportunities in learning and work. It is important that students are enabled to make informed decisions about post 16 routes. At Manor we provide careers education in years 7-11 and give students access to impartial information, advice and guidance.
Liz Greig is the Careers Co-ordinator in Manor College to help and support pupils in their post 16 choices in education, training or apprenticeship opportunities.
Mrs Greig is a professionally qualified careers adviser based in school for pupils to discuss their options throughout the year and is available to speak with parents at Years 9, 10 and 11 Parents Evenings and Guidance Days.
In addition to promoting open evenings for local Colleges and apprenticeship opportunities in school, they will also appear on the college website.
Mrs Greig can be contacted via the school telephone number 01429 288338 extension 108, alternatively you can email lgreig@manorcollege.org.uk
