| 'We are all citizens of one world' |
Manor College has an ever-increasing ‘international dimension’ and our pupils are involved in a wide variety of projects which reflect the increasingly smaller world in which we live.
In 2011 we were delighted to be accredited with the full International School Award which recognises the international ethos we have created at school. Throughout the year at Manor College a number of international activities take place, either as special events or in curriculum time, and all these activities seek to show pupils that we are all citizens of one world.
Last year activities which took place included an international sports day, eTwinning projects with France, Germany and Belgium, video projects with countries from all over the world, a Linguavision competition, Czech lessons and a trip to Germany! These activities have had a great impact on our young people and they are looking forward to this year’s projects. Each year a minimum of seven international activities will take place so keep checking the global awareness tab for news!
