Presentation Evenings 2009
5th - 8th October 2009
During the first week of October, Manor College continued its long tradition of celebrating pupil achievement with it’s annual Presentation Evenings. As per previous years the four evenings were a tremendous success with pupils from years 8,9,10 and 11 receiving certificates and awards whilst proud parents & guardians watched on.
Among this years guests were Hartlepool United footballer Tony Sweeney and former head girl Kayleigh Mills. Kayleigh is a former student and is National Schools Champion at hammer throwing.
Other guest speakers who attended the evenings were also ex-pupils and included Craig Ryan who left College in 2005 and has just qualified to be an airline pilot, Steph Lowe who left the College last year and has appeared in a West End production of Les Miserables and Matthew Maddison who recently graduated with a first class degree in law.
