Year 9 Information
Hello Year 9 and welcome to a new and exciting College year.
This is a really important year because the work you do will form the basis of your GCSE work and you will be choosing your options.
We will be starting to think about your options during November in PSHE and your final decisions are likely to be made by about April 2012 just after the year 9 Parents Evening.
You should note that nobody is guaranteed to get their first choice and if more students choose an option than we have spaces for we will select students to do that option. If your attitude and behaviour have not been good in that subject you are unlikely to be selected for that option. Now is the time to make a good impression.
To help with your studies you can now work in the ELC from 8.15, room 28 at lunchtime and the LRC from 3.15-4.30, so no more excuses for not doing the work.
To ensure the year is not all work and no play there is a timetable of extra-curricular activities out too, and they are available to every student on step 2 or below. Come along and enjoy the fun.
Have a fantastic year
Mr Davison & Mrs Bilton
